Amber Cooper: C. Beach Brown’s New Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional™

Cecilia Beach Brown |

It seems virtually impossible to keep up with all the changes that are happening daily around the world; I don’t know about you, but I often dread turning on the evening news. That’s why it’s more important than ever to celebrate good changes – and we’ve recently experienced one right here in our office!

Amber Cooper has been an integral part of the C. Beach Brown team as a Planning Assistant for the past four years. During that time, she has increased her focus to work more and more on financial planning and now I’m proud to announce that she has earned her Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional designation.

Individuals who hold the FPQPTM designation have completed a course of study encompassing the financial planning process, the five disciplines of financial planning and general financial planning concepts, terminology and product categories. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.

All designees have agreed to adhere to Standards of Professional Conduct and are subject to a disciplinary process.

Designees renew their designation every two-years by completing 16 hours of continuing education, reaffirming adherence to the Standards of Professional Conduct and complying with self-disclosure requirements.

At C. Beach Brown, we’re constantly looking for ways to better serve our clients and we love engaging with team members who look for education and growth opportunities. Congratulations, Amber, on your achievement and we look forward to using all your hard-earned knowledge!
